CREAM OF POTATO SOUP 
5 potatoes, cubed
1/2 c. diced onion
1/2 c. diced celery
2 qt. chicken stock
2 c. cream
Salt and pepper
Dash of garlic powder
1/4 c. diced crisp fried bacon
1/4 c. diced green onion with 3 inches of stalk

Simmer potatoes, with onion and celery in chicken stock until potatoes are tender. Thicken soup with flour and water until thicker then desired. Heat cream and add to soup. Then add salt, pepper, garlic, bacon, and onion. Serves 10.
