1/4 lb. bacon, diced
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
2 eggs, beaten

Fry diced bacon. Beat eggs, sugar, vinegar and water. Add mixture to diced bacon and bring to a boil. Pour over dandelion or lettuce. For endive dressing, thicken with 1 tablespoon of flour.
