1 c. flour
1/2 c. salt
2 tbsp. cream of tartar
1 c. water
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
Food coloring

Mix flour, salt and cream of tartar in medium pan. Add water, oil, and food coloring. Cook over medium heat about 3 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly. It will look like a "globby" mess, but it will turn out. Dump out of pan onto wax paper. Knead until smooth. Store in air tight container.
