PALDYA 
1 lg. pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1 c. non-flavored yogurt
1 hot green chili
1 tsp. cumin seeds
1 tsp. grated fresh ginger or dry ginger powder
4 tbsp. coconut grating
1 handful clean, fresh cilantro (optional)
Salt to suit individual taste

Fresh coconut is great, but may be substituted by dehydrated coconut grating. If using latter and if it is sweetened, soak the coconut in water for 10 minutes and squeeze the water out to remove as much sweetness as possible.

Cook mixed vegetables with salt and place in serving dish. Grind well all remaining ingredients with some salt and water if needed for grinding and pour over cooked vegetables. This dish is best eaten with steamed rice. it should not be mixed with rice before serving.
