DATE BALLS 
1 lb. chopped dates
1-2 sticks butter
1 c. sugar
4 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. chopped pecans
4 c. Rice Krispies
Powdered sugar

Combine dates, butter, sugar and eggs in large saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly for 15 minutes. Remove from heat. Add vanilla, pecans and Rice Krispies. Mix and let cool. Roll into small balls, then roll in powdered sugar. Keep refrigerated.
