HAWAIIAN CHICKEN MARINADE 
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 tbsp. sherry
3/4 c. pineapple juice
2 tbsp. wine vinegar
3 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Mix together, pour over chicken and marinate overnight in refrigerator. Garnish with pineapple.

This is very good. I only marinated 4 hours but overnight would give more flavor. I wanted to baste with marinade so I cooked on stove after marinating. I wasn't sure how long it should cook to kill bacteria so I left it on simmer after boiling it a few minutes. Actually I forgot it and when I came back it was a nice thick sauce. I don't recommend forgetting it but I do thickening it, the taste was like teriyaki sauce from a restaurant. I will double the recipe next time for more sauce. My husband raved over the taste.
