MY MOTHER'S BISCUITS 
2 cups self-rising flour
1 tsp. sugar
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup heavy cream
3 heaping tbsp. softened butter

Mix self-rising flour and sugar together. Make a well in middle of flour. Put butter, milk and cream in well, mix well. Let set 5 minutes.

Put on floured board and pat out to 1/2-inch thick. Cut out biscuits using biscuit cutter. Put on ungreased baking sheet or pan.

Bake at 425°F for 12 to 15 minutes.
