1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. vinegar
6 tbsp. butter (melted)
1 c. water

Preheat oven to 350°F. In an ungreased 8 inch baking pan, sift and mix together flour, sugar, soda, and cocoa. Make three wells in flour mixture. Put vanilla in the first well, vinegar in the second well, and melted butter in the third. Pour water over all and mix with a fork until ingredients are entirely moist.

Bake 30 minutes or until done.
