LUCILLE'S CAULIFLOWER DISH | |
whole cauliflower CREAMY GARLIC SAUCE: 2 garlic cloves, minced 2 tbsp. butter 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1/4 to 1/2 cup cream TOPPING: 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter 1/2 sleeve saltine crackers, crushed Placed minced garlic in medium saucepan with 2 tablespoons butter, sauté til tender. Add cream cheese and 1/4 cup cream, heat til soft and creamy. Note: You may need to add additional cream to thin to desired consistency. Meanwhile, steam whole cauliflower head til tender. While cauliflower is steaming, melt 1/2 stick butter, add crushed saltine crackers and stir frequently til golden brown. Place cauliflower head in pretty crystal bowl, pour creamy garlic sauce over the cauliflower, then top with browned crackers. Serve and enjoy! Serves 4 to 6. Submitted by: Diana Taylor |
