MOLASSES CORN BREAD | |
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour 1 c. corn meal 1 tsp. salt 4 tsp. baking powder 1 egg, well beaten 1/4 c. molasses 1 c. milk 1/4 c. melted shortening Mix and sift dry ingredients. Combine egg, molasses and milk; stir into dry ingredients. Stir in melted shortening. Bake in a greased 8 inch square pan or muffin pans at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. |
