EGGNOG 
6 egg yolks, beaten
1/4 c. sugar, added gradually
3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash salt
6 egg whites, beaten
1/4 c. sugar
Whipping cream (optional)

Gradually add sugar to 6 beaten egg yolks. Stir in the milk, vanilla and salt. Beat in the remaining ingredients. If using whipping cream, fold in after the other ingredients are beaten.

For holiday punch, add 1/2 cup each of bourbon and rum.
