2 qt. potatoes, unpeeled, sliced
1/4 lb. butter, scant
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1/2 c. water

Layer potatoes with onion mix and melted butter. Repeat until potatoes are used up. Add 1/2 cup water. Cover dish with foil or cover. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees or 1 hour at 375 degrees.
