HAM AND BROCCOLI CASSEROLE | |
12 slices of bread 6 eggs 3/4 lbs. cheese, sliced (Velveeta or American) 2 lbs. ham 1 tsp. dry mustard 2 lbs. ham, cooked and cubed 1 (10 oz.) pkg. broccoli, cooked and drained 3 1/2 c. milk 1 tsp. minced onion Salt and pepper to taste Cut doughnut shapes out of the bread and set aside. Put scraps in bottom of greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Put broccoli on top, then the cheese. Top with doughnut shapes of bread. Beat eggs, seasonings, and milk. Pour over mixture in pan. Cover with foil and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Bake, uncovered, fro 55 minutes at 325 degrees. Let stand 5 minutes. Serve. I have decreased milk to 2 1/2 - 3 cups and baked immediately. |
