HAM STRATA 
12 slices white bread
3/4 lb. sharp cheese, sliced
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli
3 c. cooked ham (shaved or chopped fine)
6 eggs, slightly beaten
3 1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. instant onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
Shredded cheese, optional

Cut 12 doughnut shapes and holes from bread. Fit scraps of bread into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Arrange cheese slices over bread; add a layer of broccoli, then of ham. Place doughnut holes on top. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over all. Cover and refrigerate 6 hours or overnight. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 50 minutes. Sprinkle with shredded cheese; bake another 5 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Serves 8 to 10.
