1 stick butter
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1 c. chocolate chips, semi sweet
1 sm. can evaporated milk
2 c. sugar
8 lg. marshmallows

In mixing bowl, cut up butter, adding nuts and chocolate chips.

In heavy saucepan, mix evaporated milk with 2 cups sugar and 8 marshmallows. Heat over low fire, bringing to boil, stirring. Boil 6 minutes.

Pour hot mixture over ingredients in bowl, stirring until chocolate and butter have melted. Pour into greased 9" pan. Chill. Creamy, smooth and easy.
