CHICKEN CASSEROLE 
4 slices bacon
1 chicken cut in serving pieces
1 c. long grain rice
2 can cream of mushroom soup
Salt and pepper
3/4 c. water

Line large casserole with slices of bacon. Spread rice over bacon. Place pieces of chicken over rice. Spread 1 can undiluted soup over chicken. Salt and pepper and pour 3/4 cup water over all. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until chicken is tender.

GRAVY:

Dilute other can of cream of mushroom soup with a little milk to make the right consistency for gravy; heat. Add parsley and serve over casserole. Serves 6 to 8.
