"PEANUT BRITTLE" COOKIES | |
15 graham crackers (I use regular, not honey) chopped nuts (if desired) SYRUP: 1/2 lb. (2 sticks) butter 1/2 cup white sugar 1 tsp. vanilla In a saucepan add butter, sugar and vanilla. Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes. In a jelly roll pan, spread whole graham crackers in a single layer. Sprinkle with chopped nuts, if using. Pour the hot syrup over crackers. Bake at 350°F for 8 minutes. Remove from pan while warm. Store in an airtight container. Submitted by: Shirley Dorsey |
