2 tbsp. vinegar 2 tbsp. pineapple juice 2 tbsp. sugar 3 egg yolks 1 tbsp. butter Pinch of salt 1 can Royal Ann cherries, pitted 1 can pineapple chunks 1 can mandarin orange slices 1 sm. jar maraschino cherries 1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped Put all fruit in large colander and drain well. Combine in double boiler the vinegar, pineapple juice, sugar, eggs, butter and salt, bring to boil to thicken then cool. Whip the whip cream and mix with cooled thickened mixture. Fold in large bowl with all fruit and refrigerate. |
