SHIPWRECK CASSEROLE 
2 onions, sliced
2 med. potatoes, sliced
1 lb. hamburger, broken apart
1/2 c. rice, uncooked
1 c. celery, diced
1 c. carrots, sliced
1 can tomato or cream of mushroom soup
1 c. water, boiling
Salt, pepper and paprika

None of the ingredients are cooked in advance. Butter large casserole dish and layer above, except soup and water, adding salt, pepper, and paprika to each layer. Add soup and water. Cover and bake in slow oven (250 to 300 degrees) for 3 to 4 hours. NOTE: Quick and easy, all in one nutritious and filling meal.
