DROP YEAST ROLLS 
2 c. very warm water
1 yeast cake or 1 pkg. yeast
1 egg
3/4 c. shortening or lard
1/3 c. sugar
4 c. self-rising flour

Dissolve yeast in water, add sugar. Beat eggs well and add shortening to first mixture. Add flour. Grease muffin tins and drop 2 tablespoons into each space. Let rise 15 minutes, then bake at 425 degrees.

Note: These can be refrigerated after dropping into muffin tins. Then let rise 15 minutes before baking.
