BARBECUED MEATBALLS 
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. chili powder
6 tbsp. brown sugar
6 tbsp. vinegar
Few drops hot sauce
1/2 c. catsup
6 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. celery seeds

Soak bread crumbs in milk. Combine ground beef, onion, bread mixture, egg, salt and pepper. Shape into balls and place into greased casserole dish. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meatballs. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Makes 12 large meatballs or 24 small meatballs which are ideal for hors d'oeuvres or covered dish meals.
