SNOW ICE CREAM 
One of the greatest treats in life is to sit by a warm fire and eat snow ice cream. All you need to remember is to brush the top layer off clean snow and dip out the clean center. Never dipping the cup deep enough to pick up dirt, from the ground or off old boards or buildings.

Whip 1 cup heavy cream, then fold in sugar and vanilla to taste. Scoop up about 4 cups of snow and while it is still frozen fold it into the cream mixture. Eat immediately or pack the bowl into a snowbank and let it chill until the ice cream has hardened. Makes about 6 servings.
