LEMON SQUARES 
1 (2 layer) lemon cake mix
4 eggs
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 lb. confectioners' sugar
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. lemon extract

Combine cake mix, 1 egg and butter in bowl. Pat into 9x13 inch baking pan. Combine sugar, cream cheese, 3 eggs and lemon extract in mixing bowl, mix well. Mixture will be lumpy. Pour over cake mix layer. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Do not overbake. Cool to room temperature. Cut into squares. Store in refrigerator.
