5 lbs. potatoes, approx.
1 (6 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. onion salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. butter

Peel, boil potatoes, drain. Add remaining ingredients. Beat until light. Spread in 13 x 9 inch baking dish. (I use large round casserole dish which I grease first.) Dot with butter. May sprinkle small amount of garlic salt on top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes. May refrigerate this dish before baking and then bake next day or later in day if you wish. If dish is real cold, I start in oven at lower temperature to start then raise temperature. Once I didn't have sour cream in the house and I substituted milk. It came out o.k. but not as creamy.
