RICHMOND CHOCOLATE SAUCE 
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 (1 oz.) chocolate sq.
Dash of salt
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar and cornstarch in pan. Stir in water. Melt chocolate in microwave (or grate it up) and add to sugar mix. Cook and stir until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and butter. Use on ice cream or on plain cake squares.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
