HOMEMADE CROUTONS 
1/4 c. butter
2 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
4 1/2 in. sliced French bread, cut into 3/4 in. cubes

In a large skillet, melt butter. Remove from heat. Stir in parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Add bread cubes; stir until coated. Spread bread cubes in a shallow baking pan. Bake in a 300 degree oven for 10 minutes. Stir. Bake for 5 minutes more or until crisp. Store croutons in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
