APRICOT HAM STEAK 
1 1/2 lbs. ham sliced, cut two inches thick
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
Whole cloves
16 oz. can peeled whole apricots

Remove any fat around the slice of ham. Place in a shallow baking pan. Sprinkle with sugar and stud the side with cloves. Drain the apricot juice. Pour 1/3 cup of the juice over the ham.

Bake at 325 degrees for 60 minutes. Basting often with the juice in the pan. Arrange the drained apricots on top of the ham and bake 15 minutes longer, or until richly glazed. Makes 6 servings.
