OREO COOKIE ICE CREAM CAKE 
1 (15 oz.) pkg. Oreo cookies
1/2 c. melted butter
1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
1 (16 oz.) can fudge topping

Melt butter in 9 x 13 inch pan. Crush cookies into pan; (save 2 cups for topping). Place in freezer for 10 minutes. Slice ice cream and place over cookies, put in freezer for 1 hour. Spread Cool Whip. Freeze for 1 hour. Spread rest of cookies on top. Freeze thoroughly. Take out 15 minutes before cutting. Fudge topping, optional.
