CONGO BARS 
2 1/4 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 lb. box brown sugar
3 eggs
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick melted butter
1 sm. bag chocolate chips or butterscotch chips
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. chopped maraschino cherries

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Beat eggs. Then add sugar and mix well. Add melted butter and vanilla and milk. Mix with flour mixture. Stir in chocolate bits, nuts and cherries. Pour into oblong pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
