MOM'S MEATLOAF | |
1 1/2 lb. ground meat 1 env. onion soup mix 2 can stewed tomatoes 1 can tomato sauce 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 1/2 pieces toasted bread, pulled apart Salt, pepper and garlic to your taste 1 egg 1 tbsp. milk Mix all ingredients together in large bowl - using your hands to mix is best. Reserve 1 can of tomato sauce and 1/2 can of stewed tomatoes for gravy on top. Form into a loaf and top with gravy/sauce and cook 1 hour at 350 degrees. Vegetables can be added as you cook this. Garnish during cooking this with sliced green peppers and purple onions. |
