1 c. shortening or butter 1 c. white sugar 1 c. brown sugar 2 eggs 3/4 tsp. salt 2 c. Rice Krispies, Wheaties or Corn Flakes 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2 c. oatmeal 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 c. coconut, chocolate chips or salted peanuts Cream shortening or butter. Add sugars and eggs. Add vanilla and fold in flour. Add the remaining ingredients and drop from spoon. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. |
