POPPY SEED BREAD 
Bread:

1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
2 1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. butter, softened
3 eggs
1 1/8 c. oil
1 1/2 tbsp. poppy seeds
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into greased loaf pan.

Bake at 350°F until done and brown on top. Let loaves cool slightly in pans. Pour glaze over loaves and cook completely in pan before removing.

Makes 3 small or 2 large loaves.

Glaze:

1/2 tsp. butter
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. orange juice
3/4 c. sugar

Combine all ingredients and mix well.
