MINT BROWNIES 
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. sweet butter
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. sliced almonds
1/2 c. unsifted flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 inch pan.

Melt chocolate and butter over hot water. Beat eggs and sugar until thick. Add nuts, flour and chocolate mixture. Beat until smooth. Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Check in 15 minutes. Cool until cold.

STEP 2:
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
3 tbsp. soft butter
2 tbsp. heavy cream or milk
3/4 tsp. peppermint or wintergreen flavoring

Beat ingredients until smooth. Add green food coloring. Spread over brownies. Chill 1 hour.

STEP 3: GLAZE:

2 oz. sweet chocolate
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt over hot water and spread on mint mixture. Chill until firm.
