BISCUIT PUDDING 
8 (2 inch) biscuits
4 slices bread, trimmed
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Vanilla Sauce (recipe follows)
3 tbsp. melted butter

Break biscuits and bread into chunks and place in a lightly greased 9 inch square pan. Combine remaining ingredients, except vanilla sauce. Pour mixture over bread. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve hot or cold with Vanilla Sauce.

VANILLA SAUCE:

1/2 c. sugar
2 c. milk
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar and flour in a saucepan. Gradually stir in milk and vanilla. Cook over low heat, stirring until smooth and thickened. Yields 2 cups.
