CHICKEN CORN SOUP | |
2 lg. chicken breasts 4 qts. of water 1 blade celery, cut fine 1/2 tsp. parsley flakes 2 dashes of oregano Salt & pepper to taste This may be cooked in crock pot. Cook chicken to soft with above ingredients. Remove chicken and cool. Remove chicken skin and all bones and break into fine pieces and put aside. Then add 4 pints of corn to broth and cook until corn is soft. Last step - add chicken and heat through. RIVELS: 1 egg 1 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt Mix to cornmeal texture and drop into boiling soup, cover and cook approximately 10 minutes. |
