PINTO BEANS 
1 lb. dried pinto beans
Cooking oil
1 can tomato sauce
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Worcestershire
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 tsp. chili powder
4 slices bacon, cut in 1 inch pieces
2 tbsp. vinegar

Sort and wash beans, put in large pot with 6 cups water. Put in 1/4 teaspoon baking soda and let soak overnight. Next day, add a few drops of cooking oil. Simmer slowly about 2 hours. Then add all of the seasoning. Add water if need to. Cook unitl done.
