COCONUT PECAN BARS 
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
Confectioners sugar

Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together. Cream the butter and sugar and then add eggs and vanilla; beat until creamy. Add the flour mixture and then stir in the coconut and nuts.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Use greased 10x15x1 jelly roll pan. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar while warm and cut into bars.
