COLONIAL BROWN BREAD 
4 c. buttermilk
4 c. whole wheat flour
1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. brown sugar, packed
4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Pour batter into two greased 9x5x3-inch pans. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serve bread warm. May be reheated. Store leftover bread in refrigerator.

For special diets: Note that this recipe is high fiber with no eggs or fat added.
