QUICK COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. Shawnee self rising flour
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. milk
1 1/4 c. self rising flour
1/3 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Blend together the first 4 ingredients and mix until crumbly. Reserve 1/2 cup mixture for topping. Add next 3 ingredients and mix until smooth. Pour batter into 8 x 10 inch pan (greased) reserved topping mixture and sprinkle on top of batter. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
