SALLY'S "BEST BROWNIES YOU EVER
ATE"
 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

ICING:

1 stick butter (melted)
1 tsp. vanilla
4-5 tbsp. milk
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 lb. powdered sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa

Mix sugar and flour together. Set aside. Boil butter, cocoa and salt in 1 cup water for 1 minute. Pour over flour and sugar and beat 1 minute. Add eggs and milk, baking soda and vanilla. Mix for 1 minute. Pour into greased and floured 11x17 cookie sheet. Bake 375 degrees, 20-25 minutes. Spread icing on hot cake.
