RUBY'S VEGETABLE SALAD 
1 can white corn
1 can French cut green beans
1 can sm. peas
1/2 c. red onions, scant
1 c. mango
1 c. celery
1 sm. jar pimento

SYRUP:

1 c. sugar
3/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. oil
2 tbsp. water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Combine all vegetables and drain off all juices. Bring to a boil syrup ingredients. Boil for 1/2 minute. Cool. Pour over salad. Chill overnight or longer.
