CHERRY TWIRL 
RICH BISCUIT DOUGH:

2 c. flour
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. shortening

Add milk to 1 egg to make 2/3 cup. Roll out to 1/3 inch into rectangular shape. Sprinkle with cinnamon, cherries and butter. Roll up, cut into 12 slices. Put into oblong pan with cherry juice. 1 c. boiling water 1/2 c. sugar 2 drops almond extract Cinnamon 1 tbsp. butter 2 drops red food coloring

Add boiling water, sugar, almond, food coloring, to cherry juice. Boil 5 minutes. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes.
