1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
cinnamon
sugar

Cream shortening and sugar together, add eggs and beat well. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Shape into balls and roll in cinnamon and sugar.

Bake on a greased cookie sheet for 8 minutes at 400°F.
