HONEY PECAN PIE 
1/4 c. honey
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. Crisco
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. broken pecans

Heat honey and sugar to form syrup. Stir in butter and Crisco. Add eggs, vanilla and pecans. Pour in 8 inch pie shell and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake 25 to 30 minutes more or until filling is set.
