PAT'S FAMOUS APPLE PIE 
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. of flour
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter
3 lb. sliced apples
2 unbaked pie crust

Line pie plate with pie crust, brush with egg whites. Mix remaining ingredients. Pour into pie crust. Dot with butter. Cover with remaining pie crust, flute edges to seal. Brush with egg yolk and prick holes. Bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes until golden brown.
