OATMEAL CARMELITAS 
CRUST:

2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 c. rolled oats
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. butter, softened

FILLING:

6 oz. pkg. semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
12 oz. (1 c.) jar caramel ice cream topping
3 tbsp. flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13"x9" pan. In large bowl, combine all crust ingredients until crumbly. Press 1/2 of mixture into pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Sprinkle warm base with chocolate chips and nuts. Combine caramel topping with 3 tablespoons flour; drizzle evenly over crust. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes. Cool completely. Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours. Cut into bars.
