POTATO ROLLS 
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. fat (Crisco)
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. hot mashed potatoes
1/2 c. warm water
1 c. sweet milk (homogenized)
2 tsp. salt
1 yeast cake dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
5 c. flour

Cream sugar and fat. Add hot potatoes, salt and eggs. Scald milk and cool to lukewarm. Add yeast mixture to milk and blend with creamed sugar, potatoes, salt and eggs. Work in flour one cup at a time. Put in a slightly greased bowl and cover with waxed paper. Place in refrigerator. Two hours before baking, form dough in desired shape and let rise. Bake at 350 to 400 degree oven until done.
