CRANBERRY PAKE | |
Line a 10-inch pie plate with your favorite pie crust. Into this put 2 cups cranberries, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1/2 cups chopped nuts. Make batter: Cream 3/4 cup softened butter and 1 cup sugar. Add 2 beaten eggs and 1 cup flour. Pour batter over cranberries and bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Serve with hot butter sauce. HOT BUTTER SAUCE: 1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar 3/4 c. cream Bring to boil and serve hot over pie. |
