DILLY BREAD 
1 pkg. dry yeast (or cake)
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. creamed cottage cheese, heated to lukewarm
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. mince onion
2 tsp. dill seed
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 unbeaten egg
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tbsp. butter

Soften yeast in water. Combine in mixing bowl cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill seed, salt, soda, egg and yeast. Add flour. Beat well. Cover and let rise in warm place until it is double in size, 50-60 minutes. Stir down dough. Turn into greased 8 inch round casserole dish and let rise another 30-40 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes, or until brown. Brush top with butter and sprinkle with salt. Makes 1 loaf.
