BANANA SPLIT DESSERT 
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 pkg. graham crackers
Butter
3 to 5 bananas
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
2 c. dry roasted peanuts
10 oz. Cool Whip

Cook chips, sugar, and milk to a mixture that is thick and smooth. Add vanilla. Chill. Cover bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan with graham crackers which have been crushed with enough butter to stick together. Save some for top. Slice bananas onto graham crust. Spoon ice cream generously to cover bananas. Cover ice cream with peanuts. Cover with chocolate mixture. Cover with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with nuts and freeze.
